Terms of Service
The terms on which we run this website, take bookings, serve you at the venue, hire staff, and operate the automated systems behind both.
In effect from 2026-09-16 · last updated 2026-09-16
01Who these terms are with
Barbie Bar is operated by Barbie Bar Japtown, of 15B/98 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe, Quan 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. These terms govern your use of barbiebar.vn and your visit to the venue. They take effect from 2026-09-16 and were last updated on 2026-09-16.
By using this site, by sending us a booking enquiry, or by entering the venue, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not book and do not enter. Nothing here removes a right you have under Vietnamese law that cannot be signed away — in particular your rights under the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights.
02Adults only
Barbie Bar serves alcohol and admits adults of 18 and over. We check identification and we refuse entry to anyone who cannot show it. That is not a formality we will negotiate over at the door.
We may also refuse entry or service, and may ask you to leave, if you are already intoxicated, if you behave aggressively, if you harass our staff or other guests, if you bring in your own alcohol or anything illegal, or if you cannot pay. Where we ask you to leave, the bill for what you have already had remains payable.
03What we offer, and what we do not
Barbie Bar is a hostess and karaoke bar. What you are paying for is a room or a table, drinks, snacks, a karaoke system, and the company and conversation of our hostess staff for the time you book.
Nothing beyond that is offered, implied, or available to buy, at any price. Our staff are employees at work. They may decline any request, refuse any drink, and end a conversation, without that affecting your booking or your bill. Propositioning, touching without consent, photographing or filming a member of staff, or pressuring anyone to drink is grounds for immediate removal, and where the conduct warrants it we will involve the police.
04Prices, tax and the bill
Prices published on this site are in Vietnamese dong and are the venue's current published rates. They are not an offer capable of acceptance and they do not form a contract: prices move with the season, with supply and with exchange rates, and the price list at the venue is the one that governs your bill.
Unless a page says otherwise, published prices exclude value added tax, service charge and card fees, and room and package prices are per person. What each package includes is stated with the price. A small number of drinks are shown without a figure while the venue confirms them — for those, ask before you order and we will quote you.
You may ask for an itemised bill at any point in the night, and we will bring one. There is no minimum spend and no minimum stay. If a charge on your bill is not one you agreed to, say so before you pay and we will settle it there and then; that is far easier for everyone than a dispute afterwards.
05Bookings
Bookings are taken by WhatsApp on +84 91 931 2738, by telephone, or by email to [email protected]. Sending an enquiry does not create a booking. A booking exists when we reply and confirm it, and what we confirm is the room, the time and the number of people — not a particular member of staff, whose availability we cannot promise in advance.
Replies on WhatsApp may be drafted by our automated assistant. A staff member reviews and confirms each reply before it is sent. Sending an enquiry still does not create a booking. A booking exists only when the house confirms the room, time and headcount. The assistant will not treat a chat as paid or finally booked on its own.
Tell us if your plans change. We hold a reserved room for thirty minutes past the booked time; after that we may release it to other guests. For large groups and private hire we may ask for a deposit, and if we do, we will tell you in the same message what happens to it if you cancel, before you pay it.
06Paying
We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and bank transfer, in Vietnamese dong. A card fee applies to card payments and is shown on the bill. Card transactions are handled by our bank's terminal; we neither receive nor keep your card number.
If you need a VAT invoice, ask at the time of payment rather than afterwards — Vietnamese invoicing rules make a later reissue difficult.
07Conduct, privacy and photography
Other guests came here to relax. Do not photograph, film or record anyone in the venue — staff or guest — without their agreement, and do not post images of them. A person's image is their personal data under Vietnamese law, and in a venue like this the consequences of a careless photograph are not evenly distributed.
Private rooms are private. What is said in them is not ours to repeat and not yours to broadcast.
08Alcohol and getting home
We serve alcohol responsibly and will stop serving anyone we judge has had enough. Vietnam enforces a zero blood-alcohol limit for driving, with heavy penalties: if you have had a drink, do not drive, and do not ride. Ask us and we will call you a taxi or a Grab.
Our hours follow Vietnamese law on trading hours for licensed venues, and we may close earlier than the published time where the law or the authorities require it.
09Working here
We recruit hostess and promotional staff, and the terms of any job are set out in the contract we sign with you, not on this website. Pay figures published on the jobs page are indicative ranges, not an offer.
Two things we will state plainly. We never charge an applicant or an employee a fee — not for an interview, not for training, not for a uniform, not for an introduction, and if anyone claiming to represent us asks you for money, they do not represent us. And we hire only people of 18 and over with the right to work in Vietnam, verified from original documents in person.
What we do with the information in an application is set out in our Privacy Policy.
10This website
The text, photographs, layout and code of barbiebar.vn belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and quote from the site, and link to it. You may not copy it wholesale to present as your own, and you may not use our name, logo or photographs to imply that another venue is this one — which happens, and which is the reason this sentence exists.
We publish this site as accurately as we can, and correct errors when we find them. We do not warrant that every price, opening hour or drink listed is current at the moment you read it: confirm with us before you rely on it. Links to other sites — maps, social platforms, WhatsApp — are for convenience, and what happens on those services is governed by their terms, not ours.
The site is served as-is and we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption.
11Automated access, agents and our own systems
Every page here is also published as plain markdown for software that prefers it, and the site declares what it is in machine-readable form. That is deliberate: if a search engine or an assistant is going to answer questions about this venue, we would rather it read something accurate. Reading these pages, quoting them with attribution, and citing them is permitted and welcome.
What is not permitted is presenting our content as another business's, republishing it wholesale, or stating prices, hours or terms as ours when they are not what this site says. Our machine-readable signals about the use of this content for training are published in the site's robots file, and we expect them to be respected.
Separately, we run internal tools that read our own analytics, search and business-listing data through Google's and Meta's APIs, and that check this site for errors.
We also use an AI-assisted WhatsApp assistant on our WhatsApp Business channel to draft replies to booking and venue enquiries. Staff review and confirm each reply before it is sent. That assistant may process guest WhatsApp messages as described in our Privacy Policy. It does not take payments and does not finally confirm a paid booking without the house. Job applications and identity checks remain human-only.
Using our WhatsApp channel means you accept that messages may be processed by our systems and by Meta's WhatsApp Business service under the Privacy Policy.
12Liability
We are liable for loss we cause you by breaking these terms or by failing to take reasonable care. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by you or by a third party outside our control, or for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Vietnamese law does not permit us to limit — including your rights as a consumer under the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights.
Look after your belongings. We are not responsible for property left in the venue, though we keep what is found and will return it to you if you ask.
13If something goes wrong
Tell us first, and tell us early. Email [email protected] or message +84 91 931 2738. Most complaints about a bill, a booking or a member of staff can be settled the same night by asking for the manager, and that is by far the fastest route.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you keep every right Vietnamese law gives you, including complaint to the competent consumer protection authority and recourse to the courts.
14Governing law, and these terms as a whole
These terms are governed by the law of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and disputes are for the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City.
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. We may change these terms, and the version published here on the day you visit or book is the version that applies; the date at the top of the page tells you when it last moved.
These terms are published in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese. The English text is the reference version; where Vietnamese law requires otherwise for a Vietnamese consumer or employee, the requirement of Vietnamese law prevails.
We would like to load Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to see which pages lead to bookings. They are not needed for this site to work, and neither one loads until you choose. You can change your answer at any time. Privacy Policy
